Great tips - I might also add:

acrobat.com - it allows you to screen share and record like Gotomeeting - except free
freeconferencecall.com - which allows you free conference callng like Gotomeeting.

Nice tips Matt!
But instead of spending $49/month I prefer spending $25/month for project management.
I prefer DeskAway (http://www.deskaway.com) over Basecamp for managing my projects and tasks and collaborating with my team and clients. Though DeskAway is much cheaper than Basecamp the services provided by DeskAway is much superior and better than Basecamp. Also it gets updated once in a month as per user requests unlike Basecamp.

You do have the option to use your own code for ConstantContact eNewsletters, but I haven't tried that yet. I've found that there's enough customization available with the templates they offer that I can get it the look and feel I want. I often start out with a template topic that's completely unrelated (restaurant, travel, etc.) and by manipulating photos, backgrounds, etc. I end up getting what I want.

With GoToWebinar, I haven't used a webcam. Everyone logs in and calls in and I share my screen (typically a PPT pitch) and then they can type a comment either via the web interface or speak up on the phone. They also have an option called GoToMeeting that just facilitates conference calls with smaller groups and no screen-sharing.

With the cumbersome processes in place at my company to procure new software, it's really great to have these inexpensive web-based services out there to get the job done!

Amy, thanks for adding some tools to the mix! I've heard a lot of great things about Constant Contact but heard they don't allow you to customize as you're restricted to their templates. I'd love to hear how you're using this service with your clients!

I haven't heard of GoToWebinar but will look into them now that you've brought it up. Speaking of web conferences - do you use just a standard web cam when you do this with clients, etc.? I've been looking at Flip Video Cameras for my blog & video, but also curious about the web cam options as well...Thanks!

Great tips, Matt - I have never heard of Brad's deals before but will have to check it out!

Another tool I've been using a lot over the past year is Constant Contact for e-mail newsletters and surveys. I can load my customer e-mail database into its contact feature and then create professional-looking HTML eNewsletters with actually having to know much (any) HTML. And I can track who has opened each e-mail and clicked on each link within. I know there are lots of services out there like this and many offer free demos. It's been really helpful to me and it's a low-cost solution to staying in touch with our customer base.

We've also been using GoToWebinar a lot to cut down on travel/meetings and to present new products and training to our customers and sales force. It's a pretty reasonable monthly fee and it's very interactive.
